O-Shot Post-Care Instructions
Follow these post-care notes after your O-Shot appointment. Your provider may give you personalized instructions based on your treatment plan.
Don't Freak Out. You're Going to be a Little Sore.
You can expect to be tender for the first 24-48 hours. During this time, take Tylenol and avoid NSAIDs like Ibuprofen. Keep the injected area clean. Shower within 12-24 hours after your treatment. Pinpoint bleeding and spotting is normal for the first 24-48 hours. Notify us by text or phone if you notice bleeding in excess of that.
Oh yes? Oh no.
There are a few things to avoid after your treatment: no NSAIDs like Ibuprofen for 24 hours, no tampons or sex for 48 hours, and no hot tubs or swimming for 7 days.
Hurry up and Wait.
Collagen production does not happen overnight. Trust the process and give your results time. Everyone's experience is different, but most clients start to see results as early as 6 weeks and can continue to see improvement for up to 6 months.
