Yes. If needed, your provider will perform gentle extractions to remove blackheads and clogged pores after your skin has been softened with steam.
Absolutely. Steam & Clean is an excellent maintenance facial for clients dealing with congestion, oily skin, or occasional breakouts. Your provider may also recommend pairing it with one of our acne treatments if you're experiencing more persistent acne.
No. Most clients leave with skin that looks clean, fresh, and hydrated. Mild redness after extractions is normal and typically resolves within a few hours.
Many clients schedule one every 4 to 6 weeks as part of their regular skincare routine. If you're especially oily or congested, your provider may recommend more frequent treatments.
Steam & Clean focuses on deep cleansing, steam, exfoliation, and extractions in a quick 30-minute appointment. Hydrafacial is a more advanced treatment that combines chemical exfoliation, vortex suction, booster serums, and intense hydration. Both are excellent, and we'll help you choose the right one for your skin goals.
Yes. You can return to your normal activities immediately. If you had several extractions, we recommend giving your skin a few hours to breathe before applying makeup for the best results.
Steam & Clean emphasizes cleansing, steam, exfoliation and extractions. The Blue Light Special is an acne-focused facial that also includes blue LED light therapy. Discuss the kind of breakouts or congestion you have when deciding between them.
Leave extractions to the provider and point out the areas that concern you. Picking or squeezing can injure the skin and make it harder to assess. Share recent exfoliation and any irritated areas before the facial begins.
