Your esthetician will assess your skin, cleanse, and apply the selected peel in layers when appropriate while monitoring your response. You may feel tingling, warmth, or mild stinging, and some solutions may be left on to self-neutralize.
Downtime depends on the peel selected. Some options, like BioRePeel, have little to no visible peeling, while TCA-based peels or Jessner's may cause visible flaking and shedding for 3 to 7 days.
Results can last 2 to 6 months depending on the peel, your skin concerns, and your home care. A series spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart may be recommended for acne, melasma, pigmentation, or other stubborn concerns.
The sensation depends on the strength of the peel. You may feel prickling, heat, itching, or tightness during application. We use comfort measures like a fan, and the sensation usually settles within a few minutes.
Discontinue retinol, active ingredients like glycolic or salicylic acid, and topical acne creams 5 to 7 days before and after treatment. We cannot treat recently waxed or lasered skin, sunburned skin, open wounds, or active rashes.
Medical-grade skincare and daily SPF help protect and extend your results. Your provider can recommend the right cleanser, antioxidant, retinol timing, moisturizer, and SPF for your skin after your peel.
The Full tier includes a wider range of corrective solutions and recovery profiles. Selection depends on your skin and concern, not only the tier name.
No. Visible peeling varies by product, application, skin preparation, and individual response. Redness, dryness, or sensitivity can occur even without obvious shedding.
Inflammation can trigger unwanted pigment changes in any skin, with risk varying by skin history and peel depth. Careful selection, preparation, and sun protection matter.
Share prescriptions, retinoids, acne products, recent waxing or procedures, sun exposure, cold-sore history, pregnancy status, active irritation, and any tendency to scar or discolor.
Contact your provider promptly for increasing burning, itching, swelling, blistering, drainage, or other unexpected symptoms. Do not scratch or pick the area.

Love the Riverton location as much as Murray ! Everyone is so friendly, Micah was knowledgeable and took great care with my Xerf facial . I was a little nervous but felt safe in her care . I already love the results on day 1 & am excited for what’s to come ! Also this location is in a super cute shopping area with lots of boutiques and eatery’s nearby . I went to Flower Child after and there’s only two of those in the whole valley . Love the Lab 💕

I just had my first facial at Beauty Lab + Laser and I fear I may never emotionally recover… because now I know how the other half lives. Yes… THE Beauty Lab + Laser. Co-owned by Heather Gay herself. Ever since I first laid eyes upon that beautifully chaotic fever dream known as The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, I have dreamed of entering this establishment. And reader… dreams DO come true. I got the Good Time Girl Facial and let me tell you… it was, in fact, a GOOD. TIME. Shelby C. was my esthetician, but honestly? I think she may have been an angel temporarily assigned to Earth. Beautiful. Gentle. Ethereal. Like if a woodland fairy got licensed in advanced skincare. There were TWO cleanses. Exfoliation. Moisturizers. Masks. Serums. Warm towels. At one point I think my soul briefly left my body and floated toward the heavens while Enya played faintly in the distance. I have now decided heaven is simply this: You lie on a heated table while angels wash and exfoliate your face for eternity while calling you “queen.” I walked in looking like I had been through several economic recessions and a situationship. I walked out looking hydrated, luminous, and emotionally stable. Best $150 I’ve ever spent. I would trust Shelby with my taxes, my future children, and the nuclear codes. 10/10. If I disappear, please know I now live there permanently in a robe with cucumber slices on my eyes.

Our skincare specialists, Jaylee and Micah, were absolutely wonderful, so knowledgeable, professional, and happy to answer all our questions about other treatments (and some fun facts about the RHOSLC cast). Finally, the cherry on top? We received handwritten notes from Heather Gay herself! We’ll truly be fangirling forever. After the treatment, our skin felt smooth a dewy, we loved the result!
