Mega Feel The Peel is the deepest and most advanced Feel The Peel option. It is designed for clients who want stronger correction for stubborn discoloration, more advanced aging signs, enlarged pores, rough texture, pigmentation, and dullness.

What can I expect during my appointment?

Your esthetician will consult, prep your skin, and carefully apply your chosen Mega peel while monitoring comfort and effectiveness. These peels work deeper than Mini or Full peels, so warmth, tingling, or mild stinging can be normal during treatment.

Is there any downtime?

Yes. Most clients experience visible peeling or flaking that starts a few days after treatment and can last up to a week. Redness, dryness, and sensitivity are also common, so plan around major social events.

How long do results last?

Mega Feel the Peel results can last several months. Many clients see noticeable improvement in discoloration, texture, and radiance after one treatment, and a series spaced a few months apart may be recommended for stubborn concerns.

Do chemical peels hurt?

The sensation depends on the strength of the peel. You may feel prickling, heat, itching, or tightness during application. We use comfort measures like a fan, and the sensation usually settles within a few minutes.

Is there any prep for this treatment?

Discontinue retinol, active ingredients like glycolic or salicylic acid, and topical acne creams 5 to 7 days before and after treatment. We cannot treat recently waxed or lasered skin, sunburned skin, open wounds, or active rashes.

Are there products I should use at home?

Medical-grade skincare and daily SPF help protect and extend your results. Your provider can recommend the right cleanser, antioxidant, retinol timing, moisturizer, and SPF for your skin after your peel.

Is Mega Feel the Peel a deep chemical peel?

No. Mega is Beauty Lab's name for its most intensive professional peel tier. It should not be confused with a physician-performed deep peel, which has a different medical setting and recovery.

How much peeling should I expect?

Visible shedding varies, but redness, dryness, tightness, sensitivity, and peeling are realistic possibilities. Plan around events and follow the specific instructions provided.

Who may need a lighter option?

Active irritation, recent procedures, certain medications, recent sun exposure, pigment-change history, pregnancy, cold sores, or limited recovery time may change the plan.

Can I pick or exfoliate peeling skin?

No. Picking, scrubbing, or adding unapproved exfoliants can increase irritation, infection, pigment changes, and scarring risk.

When should I contact the provider?

Contact the clinic for increasing pain, burning, swelling, blistering, drainage, or other symptoms outside the expected aftercare guidance.

Love the Riverton location as much as Murray ! Everyone is so friendly, Micah was knowledgeable and took great care with my Xerf facial . I was a little nervous but felt safe in her care . I already love the results on day 1 & am excited for what’s to come ! Also this location is in a super cute shopping area with lots of boutiques and eatery’s nearby . I went to Flower Child after and there’s only two of those in the whole valley . Love the Lab 💕

I just had my first facial at Beauty Lab + Laser and I fear I may never emotionally recover… because now I know how the other half lives. Yes… THE Beauty Lab + Laser. Co-owned by Heather Gay herself. Ever since I first laid eyes upon that beautifully chaotic fever dream known as The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, I have dreamed of entering this establishment. And reader… dreams DO come true. I got the Good Time Girl Facial and let me tell you… it was, in fact, a GOOD. TIME. Shelby C. was my esthetician, but honestly? I think she may have been an angel temporarily assigned to Earth. Beautiful. Gentle. Ethereal. Like if a woodland fairy got licensed in advanced skincare. There were TWO cleanses. Exfoliation. Moisturizers. Masks. Serums. Warm towels. At one point I think my soul briefly left my body and floated toward the heavens while Enya played faintly in the distance. I have now decided heaven is simply this: You lie on a heated table while angels wash and exfoliate your face for eternity while calling you “queen.” I walked in looking like I had been through several economic recessions and a situationship. I walked out looking hydrated, luminous, and emotionally stable. Best $150 I’ve ever spent. I would trust Shelby with my taxes, my future children, and the nuclear codes. 10/10. If I disappear, please know I now live there permanently in a robe with cucumber slices on my eyes.
